Kyoto National Museum

Chion-ji Temple, located at the Hyakumanben intersection on the east side of Kyoto, houses a number of valuable Pure Land Buddhist artworks, including the Chinese masterpiece Hama and Tieguai, an Important Cultural Property of Japan. This exhibition features a selection of pieces borrowed from the Chion-ji collection.
