Kifune Shrine

Watch two large wooden carts fight against each other at this local Danjiri festival in Amagasaki. The first day begins with a parade of 8 Danjiri (large wooden carts) accompanied by drums starting from Hanshin Amagasaki Station’s South Exit. On the second day, two Danjiris face each other in close proximity as they aggressively attack one another as the highlight of the ceremony.
