Not in Kansai, but probably the most well-known music festival in Japan is the Fuji Rock Festival running from Jul 27th to 29th. Top of the bill on the three days are N.E.R.D. (Jul 27), Kendrick Lamar (Jul 28), and legendary folk artist Bob Dylan and his band (Jul 29). Also on the bill are Albert Hammond Jr of the Strokes, singer-songwriter Jack Johnson, reformed Irish rock-folk band Hothouse Flowers (celebrating 30 years), British singer and guitarist James Bay, and Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi.
