Ichihime Shrine & Hito Machi Koryu-kan

Ichihime-jinja holds this historic festival on Girls’ Day to keep evil spirits away. Each year, families all over Japan display a set of dolls that resemble aristocrats from the Heian period. The shrine brings back traditional games that were played in the courts along with ceremonial kimono dressing demonstrations, a souvenir photograph session, and more.
