Nara Prefectural Complex of Manyo Culture

This museum houses more than 800 ancient artifacts, many of which make up Manyoshu, the oldest existing collection of classical Japanese poetry. The latest New Additions exhibition features some 90 works, including ceramic dolls, paintings, and other items donated by artists and collectors in 2015.
