Daikaku-ji Temple

The Saga Chrysanthemum or Sagagiku is a special variety of chrysanthemum grown locally at the Osawa-no-ike pond bordering Daikaku-ji Temple for the past 1,200 years, and is one of several types on display at this annual show. This beloved and highly symbolic flower is often associated with the imperial household.
