May 15 (Osaka) & 17 (Kyoto)

This will be the third visit to Japan by the Norwegian noise duo Aiming For Enrike for a nine-date tour of the country. In Osaka, they’ll be supported by Japanese bands Rega and WOMAN and by Gattaca in Kyoto, with Japanese trio Mass of Fermenting Dregs opening the show.
The first gig of the tour in Tokyo is already sold out as Simen Nilsen and Tobias Andersen create their noise-filled, fuzz-pop, alternative indie sound with one drum, a number of interconnected guitar amps and a series of loop & effect pedals. The duo spends a lot of time on the road building a following, and in an interview with online mag Soundsphere last year they claimed that “Playing new places for new people is always fun. We get to meet a lot of cool people, and we have made friends in Japan and India, for instance, because of touring, which we think is pretty amazing.”
