Aldious, the female power-metal band from Osaka will celebrate their 10-year anniversary in 2018. The name ‘Aldious’ comes from a shortening of the phrase “Ultimate Melodious,” and though guitarist Yoshi and bassist Sawa are the only members remaining from the original lineup, the band has not let the musical-chairs situation stifle their flow of album releases. In May this year, Aldious released its sixth studio album Unlimited Diffusion, which reached number 13 on the Japanese Oricon charts (last month the live DVD Unlimited Diffusion was released). The album has received a good response from reviewers with approving nods like, “Insanely catchy and obviously intended for audience participation at concerts.” So, get ready to sing along at this high-energy gig!
