One of the largest bon festival dance events in Japan, Dekansho drew nearly 80,000 visitors last year who got together to dance to this traditional national song. Nobody comes to the festival just to observe – every spectator can be a participant! Take a quick lesson on the Dekansho steps and join the crowds moving to the music. There will be food and drink stalls to purchase refreshments and souvenirs from, and the day will end with a flurry of fireworks shooting across the sky!
