China Town Kobe comes to life for the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Mooncake Festival. Come and join in on the festivities held at Nankin-machi, celebrating a time when the moon is at its fullest and brightest. Enjoy the atmosphere among the red and gold lanterns, have your fill of authentic Chinese cuisine, and be entertained by the plethora of cultural performances. On Oct 4th, try the special culinary dishes unique to this event at great prices. Traditional music, martial arts, a lion dance, and a dragon dance will be performed on the 7th and 8th. A raffle will be held on the last three days of the event.
