Piccadilly, one of the most luxurious clubs in Kansai, is hosting a heavyweight of Dutch Trance, Ferry Corsten. His breakthrough single Out Of The Blue was released in 1999 under his alias System F. It made his name synonymous with trance music worldwide. He followed up the success of that single with a string of hits. His tracks Cry, Gouryella, and Rock Your Body, Rock all made it onto the UK charts. He ranked number five in DJ Mag’s list of best DJs in 2004. During his 25-year career he has released seven albums and remixed numerous tracks for big artists such as U2, Duran Duran and The Killers. He has continued to evolve and embrace new styles such as EDM. He regularly plays big festivals all over the world, including Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland, and this Month it is Osaka’s turn. He will be performing at Club Piccadilly in Umeda, which used to be a historic movie theater, but in 2014 it was renovated and reopened as a club. Its gorgeous cavernous space is a perfect environment to feel Corsten’s pulsating beats. This will be a great night for old-school trance lovers and younger EDM supporters alike.
