Commonly referred to as Rokudo-san by locals, this temple’s well iis said to connect to the underworld. To establish a good relationship with Enma, the king of the underworld, a pilgrimage is held in January and July to purify one’s body, mouth, and heart, and wish for a pleasant new year.
