Jazz lovers rejoice in the perfect opportunity to indulge in a day of free music. The Takatsuki Jazz Street attracts more than 100,000 visitors every year and is one of the premier music shows in Japan. First held in 1999, this two-day jazz festival features over 800 bands performing at 70 venues; mainly around JR Takatsuki Station and Hankyu Takatsukishi Station. Take the special “paradise” bus between venues, and you might be lucky enough to run into some of the performers.
