Formed in Coventry, England in 1977, 2 Tone-ska revival band The Specials are still going strong and featuring three originals members in vocalist Terry Hall, bassist Horace Panter, and guitarist Lynval Golding. The group play four dates in Japan. Well known for the hit singles Ghost Town and Too Much Too Young, among others, it’s been just over 15 years since The Specials last released an album but last year saw them sell out many dates on their European and US tours. Though they spent a number of years either disbanded or with different line-ups, it seemed inevitable that the band would eventually reform with front-man Terry Hall. It happened in 2007 and it seems that the band has every intention to continue.
