Laidback Luke is the alias of Dutch EDM producer Lucas Cornelis van Scheppingen who has been consistently producing top-notch club music since the late 90s. Laidback Luke is best known for his collaborations with Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia. Their remix of the classic 1993 Robin S. hit Show Me Love reached #11 on the UK charts, introducing one of the defining club tracks of the 90s to a new generation of fans. Laidback Luke has also worked with Example, David Guetta, and remixed the Daft Punk song Crescendolls for their remix album Daft Club. He also happens to be an accomplished kung fu athlete (representing the Netherlands in the 2013 World Championship in China) and was even featured on the cover of Men’s Health NL in March last year. The multiskilled artist will be supported by the young talent Mark Villa who he collaborated with on the track Rise. If you love progressive house and EDM, you’ll love Laidback Luke.
