A unique festival where locals carry a symbol of fertility and parade around the neighborhood. A phallic 50-centimeter-long wooden sculpture and three eggplants and are mounted on a gigantic chinowa or grass ring. The procession chants “bon-noko hen-noko,” which are old slang terms for the female and male genitalia.
