Chieko Shiraishi uses gelatin printing, a monoprinting technique employed by early twentieth-century amateur photographers, to capture the misty ambience of phantom memories in her works. This photography exhibition features self-developed black-and-white prints centered on a trip to Penguin Island taken by the artist many years ago.
