Matsunoo Taisha Shrine

Taking place annually on the first Sunday of September, this festival is known as the last festival of the summer. Hassaku refers to the month of August in the Chinese calendar. To pray for a good harvesting season, a traditional dance performance and the a sumo competition will be held.
