Higashiyama Area

Approximately 2,500 lanterns decorate the five-kilometer walking path that leads to the foothills of Higashiyama Mountain. A bride procession, a dance by maiko – geisha apprentices, ikebana (flower arrangement) displays, a live ohayashi (festival music) show, and more will be showcased during the event.
