Himeji Castle, Hyogo

Enjoy a fabulous display of traditional and modern art works at Himeji Castle. In the evening, the castle grounds will be illuminated with beautiful lighting and guests will be wowed with projection mapping art. This exhibition is structured around the theme of Princess Sen and put on in the Nishinomaru Garden (outside) and the Hyakken-Roka corridor (inside). There will be bonsai exhibits, calligraphy, traditional costumes, lighting installations, and much more. The event is free during the day from 9am to 5pm (¥1,000 for castle entry). During the evening from 6pm to 9pm, the illumination event in the Hyakken-Roka corridor costs ¥500 per person.
