Around Himeji Castle, Hyogo

Yosakoi is a relatively new form of dance that originated in Kochi in the 1950s that fuses traditional dancing with contemporary music. The festival will feature over 52 teams with a total of 1200 performers as they showcase their dynamically choreographed performances at various locations around Himeji Castle including Otemae Park, Shiromidai Park, and the local shopping arcades.
