Ashiya City Museum of Art & History

For Japanese artists of all disciplines, WWII was an era of constriction and censorship. Following the end of the war in 1945, these artists broke free from these limitations and collaborated to form a community of unprecedented expression. This exhibition gives art lovers a chance to view a collection of works by postwar artists from the Kansai area.
