This ceremony is renowned among those who take part in tailoring or businesses that frequently use needles. Over the course of the year, used needles are offered to the shrine which go through a purification process and are buried into the ground. This process symbolizes the needles’ lifecycle as worshippers show appreciation and pray to further their skills and profit.
