Tokyo-based painter Noriyori Shirakawa, currently a teacher at the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Art and Music, aims to manifest three-dimensionality over two-dimensional planes. He often utilizes silver and aluminium metal leaf to add depth to his intricate and carefully constructed works, resulting in an interactive dance of color and luminescence.
