The Japan Mint, Osaka Branch

One of the most iconic cherry blossom viewing spots in Kansai, the grounds of the Mint Bureau open to the public for one week only each year. The gardens feature 350 cherry trees of different varieties, including the gorgeous yaezakura—double-flowered cherry blossom. In the evening, visitors are treated to a night-time illumination. An array of food stalls can be found along the river enroute from Temmabashi Station.
