BB Plaza Museum of Art

A number of artists departed for Europe during the pre-war era with the aim of extending their studies, while others, like Yoshiro Amitani and Isao Nishimura, remained in Japan to continue focusing on Western-style painting from home. This exhibition presents a collection of works by these internationally minded painters.
