Zepp Osaka Bayside, Osaka
This young American band has made more headlines for sounding like Led Zeppelin than anything else. In fact, it’s received endorsement from the legendary Led Zep frontman Robert Plant when he told Loudwire last year, “There’s a band in Detroit called Greta Van Fleet. They are Led Zeppelin. Beautiful little singer, I hate him! He borrowed his voice from somebody I know very well, but what are you going to do?” And on being compared to the British rock pioneers, Greta guitarist Jake Kiszka replied, “Are you kidding me? I embrace it! That big riff style that Jimmy Page pioneered is something that always excited me.”
But aside from all of the above, there is no doubting their musical ability. The band put out their debut album last October—March of the Peaceful Army—which received praise from Classic Rock magazine as “one of the most exciting records released by a new band in recent years.”
Important! Gig has been rescheduled last minute for Tuesday 22nd (from Monday 21). Tickets transferrable.
