Gallery Nomart

Hideki Kimura is one of Japan’s leading contemporary printmakers and winner of multiple artistic prizes, including the National Museum of Modern Art Kyoto Award at the International Biennial Exhibition in Tokyo for his highly acclaimed Pencil series in 1974. This exhibition serves as the finale of a seven-part series entitled Project Periods, hosted by Gallery Nomart since 2015, which feature the best of Kimura’s work dating back to the 70s. Guests will view 10 carefully selected, all-new prints displayed alongside works from previous years. Additionally, a supplementary symposium will be held on the last day of the exhibition to reflect on the impact and significance of the project.
