JR Kameoka Stn and surroundings

In the 16th century, Samurai Mitsuhide Akechi governed Kameyama Castle and created the foundation of Kameoka city. Locals gather to honor the warrior’s accomplishments with a parade with participants dressed as Mitsuhide and his entourage. During the day, live performances and an outdoor market are available at Nango Park.
