[:en]The National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto[:]

Celebrating the role of nature in traditional Japanese art–particularly in representations of Kyoto life–this exhibition groups art and artifacts from the museum’s permanent collection according to the 24 seasonal terms used to divide a year into subdivisions in ancient Japan. The exhibit aims to encourage visitors to reconnect with art and nature and to gain a fresh perspective of the modern world, particularly in this time of great social and natural change.
