Titled”IN & OUT,”- the exhibition will feature 22 new posters with the theme of “Mother & Others” in Swiss size, i.e. dimensions somewhat langer than usual.The peerless Nakajo, whose overwhelming presence utterly defies imitation, will demonstrate his ever-youthful approach to his art belying his 83 years. He claims being creative can sometimes be a struggle, but his design life knows no end, his creative juices ever-flowing, his work still inventive, and his zeal for holding a one-man show unabated. The lower level of the gallery will be devoted to Nakajo’s works shown atearlier solo exhibitions as well as his many contributions to Shiseido’s Hanatsubaki magazine. Visitors will marvel at how fresh Nakajo’s Brilliant and prolific editorial design work for Hanatsubaki remains even today, a marvel of harmonious compatibility with the most contemporary of designs.
