Up-and-coming Brazilian fusion guitarist Mateus Asato has become one of the most in-demand guitar players in the world today. In 2010, at 16 years old, he fended off around 500 other guitarists to win a guitaring competition, and three years later, he moved to Los Angeles to study music. Asato graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood being awarded the 2014 Outstanding Guitar Player of Musicians Institute and has gone on to also session play with singers like Tori Kelly and Jesse J. As well as conducting packed-out guitar clinics (since 2016), Asato is now touring Australia and Asia. With his signature Suhr guitar (not many players get a signature model so early in their career!), Mateus Asato is an inspiration to watch live.
