Miwasaki Hachiman Shrine

The annual festival held by Miwasaki Hachiman Jingu features a whale dance performance which originated approximately 330 years ago by imitating the action of catching a whale. On this day, traditional ceremonies will be held from 10am followed by various performances in the afternoon.
