Watch the masters of Japanese archery, or kyudo, aim at a target 60 meters away in this Shinto ceremony. The event follows a traditional sequence from the archery school of Heki, and features participants, who are practicing kyudo masters from Osaka Prefecture, wearing vividly colored traditional costumes. Typically, shinto ceremonies use a 30-meter target range, which makes this event an especially good opportunity to watch Japanese archery.
