Oumi Shrine

It is said that Emperor Tenji devised the water clock (Rokoku) 1,300 years ago. To celebrate all things clock-related, the latest styles of clocks and watches will be offered up for blessings. The shrine also has a clock museum in its precincts that will be free admission on this day.
