Seiji Fujishiro is famous for his otherworldly cut-out artworks, or kiri-e. Fujishiro creates mesmerizing and whimsical imagery by arranging backlit layers of elaborately crafted silhouettes behind glass. As the nuance of these images is lost in 2-D prints, they are best appreciated in person.
