Semba Area, Osaka

Semba originated as Osaka’s main business district in the Edo period and continued as the prime commercial area for centuries. Hina dolls—decorative Japanese dolls that are often passed down in a family—are exhibited at eight different locations including Sukunahikona Shrine, Shibakawa Modern Terrace, and Gallery Mozu. The venues are located between Yodoyabashi Station and Kitahama Station and most are open between 11am and 5pm.
