Various locations, Shigaraki

With a rich tradition of pottery making, Shigaraki is a town located in Shiga Prefecture and countless kilns dot the region. The town hosts many pottery fairs throughout the year. Due to COVID-19, instead of hosting this festival at a central location, the participating 29 workshops and studios will participate at their own locations. A special discount coupon for purchasing ceramics is available at locations including the Shigaraki Sangyo Kaikan Information Center and the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park. The shuttle bus will not be in service this year.
