Tanukidanisan Fudoin

The temple’s monks present a reading of the Great Hannya Sutra, a religious text that is composed of 600 scrolls and contains a total of 5 million letters. Because of the high volume of text, a reading technique called tendoku, or rolling reading, is used, where only select parts of the scripture is read.
