Portraits have been created throughout history as a way to capture the essence of influential people, commemorate their existence, and demonstrate their power. This exhibition features some 110 portraits borrowed from the Louvre Museum collection. Items on display include 3,000-year-old masks excavated from Ancient Egyptian coffins, paintings, and sculptures representing ancient figures like Marie Antoinette, and numerous other masterpieces.
