Yuka Doutou’s silkscreen prints are characterized by densely packed combinations of tiny, indistinguishable figures like cats, rice balls, and butterflies. When examined up close, these complex compositions inspire various reactions depending on the mood of the viewer, ranging from surprise or delight to a sense of eerie discomfort.
