Osaka city is largely under sea level and consequently at high risk from tidal surges and tsunami flooding. This complex is half control center for the various protection measures in place and half public information center. Its Dynacube Disaster Experience Theater features a computer-generated special-effects visualisation of what a tsunami hitting Osaka might look like. Projected onto the walls and floor and complete with vibro-acoustic sound, the video makes for an immersive and eye-opening experience. Every resident of Osaka should watch at least once. Admission free.
