Nakanoshima Park

Nakanoshima Island will be flooded with a sea of colorful lights in a spectacle described as the greatest free light show in Kansai. Fantastic images are projected onto the walls of the Osaka City Central Public Hall, while a romantic illuminated arcade known as “Nakanoshima Illumination Street” runs alongside city hall featuring a variety of brightly shining ornaments to set the holiday mood. This year, a gigantic Amabie (the mythical monster that is said to ward off pandemics) will appear in the south side front of the Osaka City Central Public Hall.
