Kyutei Omuro House

This historical residence built in the early 1930s is open to the public for a special viewing. Since the Heian period (around the 8th century), the Omuro neighborhood has been the home for many a cultural figure, including artists and academics. With countless rooms preserved in mint condition, the highlight is a reflective table in the living room, which depending on the time of day, mirrors the beautiful flora and fauna of the garden. The venue requires wearing masks and socks when entering.
