Shinnyoji Temple

Shinnyoji is a small temple housing an Important National Property usually off-limits to the public. During the first two weeks of the New Year, the temple’s Buddhist statue and a scroll painting depicting the the demon prince Enma and the underworld are revealed for a special viewing.
